Many men are led to believe that to be able to make their girl feel special and that she is the Number 1 person in their hearts is to continuously buy them expensive gifts, but that is simply not true. To be fair, women certainly won’t turn them down when offered.
But, what a girl really wants is to feel like she is the most special person to you and not just an afterthought. These simple steps might not sound like much, but they’ll make a world of a difference to the girl who currently owns of your heart.
Small Things Do Count
Many men take bad advice from people who are telling them that it is okay not to worry about small things. Life is all about small things. It’s the small things that count the most and are completely overlooked and ignored. While you’re busy running around hunting for the perfect big statement item to show your love for your special girl, be careful that you don’t let her walk away because you overlooked a thousand small ways you could have told her or showed her how you feel.
No Matter What, Kiss Her Hello and Goodbye
Life can get so busy at times, our minds become pre-occupied with the demands made at work and worries about how you’re going to make ends meet at the end of the month. But whatever your worries may be, you should always kiss your girl hello and goodbye as this leaves her with something to remember you by throughout the day. A kiss costs nothing but speaks volumes.
Give Her a Night Off Once a Week
There is nothing more the average busy wife and mother wants than a night off once a week. This will give her time to relax, unwind and it will feel like a little piece of paradise to her as well as show her just how devoted to her you really are.
Come home and take over, plan the meal for the evening. Organize the kids and take over kitchen cleanup duties while she relaxes in whichever way she feels like.
Leave Her Silly Little Love Notes
This may seem really silly to you, but these are the things she’ll read thousands of times over the years to come. She will put them in a pretty little box for safekeeping and take them out again whenever things get a little tough between the two of you to remind herself how you really feel.
You don’t have to waste time and spend a ridiculous amount of money to show her that she is your number 1, all it takes is a couple of small gestures and she will know that she is special and loved by you.
